Villa Solatia has had a troubled life: already in the seventeenth century there are traces of its progressive abandonment. The original sculptures and many works have been lost or destroyed, many even stolen over the centuries.
Consequently, the original furniture is substantially lost, but the recent restoration by the Tognazzi family, now the owner of the Villa, has reintegrated the great void with pieces from their own collection and, by inserting great examples of Italian and international design excellence, has built a refined and effective balance between ancient and contemporary.
Paintings, prints, lights, objects: throughout the structure you will find fascinating furnishings that make Villa Solatia a pleasure for the eyes and nourishment for the soul.
